Research Theme : “Ten-nen (10’s) generations” in performing arts of Japan
To identify special features of emerging artists in performing arts of Japan, called Ten-nen generations, in terms of social background, environment and support system, and to explore the new way of exchange for the new generations between Japan and Korea.

Residency

15 October, 2011  : Arrival in Japan
15 Octoberto 17 December 2011 :
  • Interviewing artists and arts administrators in Japan
  • Attending performances, such as Festival / Tokyo
  • Joining an international invitation program by Tokyo Metropolitan Government from 22 October to 30 October
15 November, 2011 : Roundtable focused on cultural policy in Japan and Korea

Title : Trends and implications of performing arts in Korea

Koh Jooyoung gave a presentation on the implication of performing arts in Korea, mainly Korean Arts Management Service, and gave a brief description about the new generation of performing artists, and then, she discussed about the new ways of exchange for the new generation with the participants.
